Work Force
Committee for Animal Control
The work force committee will make presentations on two major
topics at the Animal Control Commissioner Committee meeting on
January 25, 2011. The proposal for a Spay/Neuter Program will
be included.

Commissioner Meeting Policy:
The Board of Commissioners adopted a Meeting Policy at the July 08,
2010 meeting. The policy will begin with the July 20, 2010
Meeting. A copy of the policy can be viewed or downloaded by
clicking the underlined above. Highlights from the policy
include:
Citizens not already on the agenda may address the Board at the meeting but must sign in with the County Clerk before the meeting starts. They will be limited to three minutes. There will be a maximum of five speakers under Citizen Comments per meeting.
Anyone that will have information to hand out to the commissioners at the meeting are now required to give that information to the County Clerk. The clerk will make copies and distribute them to the commissioners. The commissioners will be given ample time to review your information prior to the meeting so that they can devote their attention to their guest while discussing their issue.
County Department Managers that have items on the agenda must submit them on the approved form containing pertinent information needed by the commissioners to make an informed decision. The form provides an organized, consistent format.
