 Jones County Celebrates 200 Years

Jones County is celebrating its Bicentennial year.  The County was formed December 10, 1807.  Events are planned throughout the year. 

The celebration began March 17, 2007 with Clinton's Yesteryear, a Bicentennial Parade, the dedication of a marker at the courthouse in honor of Jacob P. Hutchings, and a street dance at Carol's Park.
