The Board of Commissioners established Commissioner Committees in 2009.  The committees will have the opportunity to thoroughly research and study the issues that go before the board prior to their business meetings.  Having more detailed research available with recommendations from the committees when coming into the business meetings will provide a time management aspect as they conduct the county’s business.  Chairman Hawkins innovatively introduced the concept to the Board in an effort to make more informed decisions and better manage the projects that come before them.
