The mission of the Jones County Information Technology (IT)
Department is to provide strategic vision, leadership, and a
framework for technology to improve business operations for the
benefit of Jones County Government and its citizens.
The IT Department is responsible for the 24-hour per day operations
of all technology and technology-related infrastructure for the
county. The department provides guidance and
expertise in the development, deployment, application and
maintenance of hardware and software to improve efficiency for Jones
County Government.
Our goal is to provide a reliable communication and computer
infrastructure on which to efficiently conduct business operations
today and in the future, and to improve citizen accessibility to its
local government officials and departments via the internet. |
