Jones County is home to two recreation complexes. The complex located on Highway 18 known as the Central Complex is host to many sports and amenities. Also located there are covered picnic pavilions, outdoor basketball and tennis courts. The county has purchased an additional 62 acres of land adjacent to the complex for expansion. Fifteen acres of this land will be used for EMA and the remainder will be dedicated to the recreational needs of the citizens of Jones County.
