The Jones County Water System was taken back under county management on April 1, 2006 with a water superintendent managing the daily operations of the water system and reports directly to the County Administrator. Pictured below is the Water Superintendent, Freddie Wiggins at one of our Employee Picnics.

Outdoor water use on non-drought schedule:

• Odd-numbered addresses - Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays
• Even-numbered addresses and unnumbered addresses - Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays
  Water use may occur at any time of the day on the assigned days, however, landscape watering is discouraged between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. because of its limited effectiveness.
