Pursuant to O.C.G.A. 21-2-131, the following qualifying fees were set by the Jones County Board of Education during their January 13, 2026 meeting:
Board of Education, Chair $ 180.00
Board of Education, District 1 $ 108.00
Board of Education, District 3 $ 108.00
Qualifying for the offices listed above will begin at 9:00 AM on Monday, March 2, 2026, and will end at noon on Friday, March 6, 2026. Qualifying will take place at the Elections and Voter Registration Office, Suite 102, inside the Jones County Government Center at 166 Industrial Blvd. Gray, GA.
The Nonpartisan Election for the offices mentioned above shall be held in conjunction with the General Primary on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
