The Jones County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for a full-time Assistant County Administrator. The applicant will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and management of capital improvement projects and the county fleet program. The applicant will also serve as a central liaison between the Board of Commissioners, department heads, and external project stakeholders. The applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or a closely related field, 3-5 years’ experience in capital project management, public works administration, or local government administration, and demonstrated experience managing construction or infrastructure projects, including procurement and contract administration. The salary range for this position is $93,995.20 – $143,852.80 per year.
