The  Jones County Senior Center is located at 126 Senior Center Way in Gray. The new center site was donated to Jones County by Jimmy Goolsby and TJ Heath of Water Tower Parks Investments. Funding assistance was provided by the Department of Community Affairs through a Community Development Block Grant. The Jones County Board of Commissioners provided assistance through the Public Works, Recreation, Building and Maintenance, and Water Departments.

Carter Watkins and Associates of Monroe Georgia was the architect and South-Tree Enterprises of Peachtree City was awarded the construction contract.

The new center provides 3800 square feet of space and expanded activity to include an exercise room and a computer room with 4 computers with internet access to encourage senior computer literacy.

Services provided include: a noon meal delivered to Jones County homebound residents aged 60 and older, transportation, nutrition education, outreach services, information and referral, health and welfare counseling, escort services, shopping assistance, telephone reassurance, recreation, arts and crafts, legal services for the elderly, Retired Senior Volunteer Program, Bazaars, bingo, and friendly visiting.
