Building Maintenance Assistant (Full – Time) BM26-00903

The Jones County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for a full-time Building Maintenance Assistant. This position involves working in all types of weather conditions and requires the ability to effectively communicate with staff and the public. The applicant must be able to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair components and systems associated with building maintenance. Must have thorough knowledge of and be able to safely use common hand tools and various power tools. Must have the ability to interpret and understand a variety of forms, manuals, and regulations. General electrical experience is required.  Knowledge and experience with general carpentry and plumbing is preferred. Valid Georgia Driver’s License and High School diploma or equivalent required.
