NOTICE:  The Secretary of State’s Office has established a secure website and free-access telephone number for provisional ballot voters to access to determine whether their provisional ballots were counted and if not, the reason why.


The Jones County Elections office conducts elections and registers citizens to vote in Gray and Jones County.

The Elections office provides customer service to all constituents, including candidates for office, members of the media and the voters.  The office ensures high standards in voting and the local electoral process.  Fair and impartial elections are provided by following current federal, state and local laws.

The services provided include:  Voter Registration, Early Voting during all elections at this location, Absentee Ballots, Qualifying for elections, & State and Local District Information.

ABSENTEE VOTING

On our last day of early voting we had 82 Democratic voters and 302 Republican. We had 17 mailed ballots to be returned.  10 Democratic and 7 Republican.

Advance Voting

Advance Voting for the June 16, 2026 General Primary Runoff will be: Monday, June 8 through Friday, June 12, 9AM-5PM daily. There will be no Saturday voting.. Advance Voting will take place in the Elections Office at the Jones County Government Center, 166 Industrial Blvd, Gray. Please call the office with any questions.  478-986-3222.
